Have you heard or remember the old joke: ‘There are 3 types of people in this world. Those who are good at math, and those that aren’t.’ A real knee slapper, I know. Of my 3 kids, only 2 enjoy math at this time. I’m always on the lookout for other programs or supplemental math to incorporate into our lesson plans.

Listed below are websites that offer free math programs. These are great for homeschooling, or supplemental math aids to sharpen your math skills at any level. Since we are a homeschooling family, I personally love using Khan Academy for my upper grade level kiddos. After an account is made, badges can be earned and grades are easy to document. Through the years I’ve ~~invested~~ wasted hundreds of dollars alone with Teaching Textbooks software and books – just for our math curriculum. For homeschooling math, it’s a program that works for a lot of families. What works best for mine, is not shelling out so much money each year on box set curriculum. What better way to teach kids money management math, then with FREE Math Links!?! I sincerely hope that one or more of these links can help your family, or your class sharpen those important math skills!

Happy Learning! ~Tanya
